Support The Ministry
In 2009, Crescent Lake Bible Camp celebrated its 75th anniversary. Seventy-five years of sharing the Gospel, providing opportunities for growth and, by the grace of God, changing lives. And the tradition still continues!
"I am writing to give thanks for an opportunity that my children would never have experienced without the scholarships available at Crescent Lake Bible Camp. My three sons do not live with me. Their mother and I both struggle financially making places like Crescent Lake Bible Camp impossible for them to attend. Crescent Lake Bible Camp provided a way to introduce my children to the God I know in an atmosphere that they could share with other children and see and hear how God has worked in other children’s lives."

This year, as we celebrate our heritage, we invite you to join us in our ministry...
"Thank you for allowing us to come to Crescent Lake Bible Camp. I am really blessed. I learned a lot of stuff about God. While I was here, I also learned to ski. Please thank the people who paid my way here."
Spencer—Youth camper
To help us impact lives...
"I am so thankful for being able to come to Crescent Lake Bible Camp. I went swimming a lot. We went boating and tubing and I tried to ski and loved it. My favorite thing was to be with the counselors and my family. I am so thankful to the nice people who provided my way and I would like to thank them. May God bless them."
Stephen—Family camper
And to make a difference for eternity.
"I have always loved going to camp and this year was simply amazing. Terry’s testimony and sermons were inspiring and gave me encouragement I needed to live for Jesus. Crescent Lake Bible Camp has given me so much over the years. I really hope I can come back and be part of this ministry in some way. I hope that CLBC will continue to influence the lives of people like it has influenced me."

There are three main ways you can help make a difference in the ministry and outreach at Crescent Lake Bible Camp:
PrayThe main request we have of anyone who wants to be involved in the ministry of Crescent Lake Bible Camp, is prayer. We are a Christian ministry trying to do the will of God as we reach out to area churches, groups and individuals. This is something we cannot do on our own, but only by the grace of God. Pray for the Staff as they work to fulfill the goals of the camp, evangelism and discipleship; pray for campers that they are open to God's guiding in their lives; and pray that God will continue to grow the ministry and outreach programs at Crescent Lake.

Make A DonationThroughout the year, Crescent Lake Bible Camp has special opportunities to expand our outreach and impact lives. Some of these possibilities come through the development of new programs, while others involve providing scholarships for youth and families to attend the programs we already offer. You can help us to make a difference through financial support for the staff, donations to our Scholarship Fund, gifts-in-kind or leaving a legacy that will last for years to come.

Become An AmbassadorCrescent Lake is in the middle of a number of changes to our programs. We are adding Mission Trips and Wilderness Trips in addition to programs like Outdoor Environmental Education, Teambuilding, At-Risk / Adjudicated Youth Outreach and we are trying to partner with more self-help groups. This means that we will have a greater number of “un-churched” youth, individuals and families that are attending the programs at Crescent Lake Bible Camp. While this is a positive thing, my goal for camp is not to be a one-time, one-week experience. If we work to change lives and then people return to the same environment as before, the changes will be ineffective or temporary. I need to find some way to get these people plugged in and change their lives; not just provide a “mountain top” experience. That’s where you can help!
The Ambassador Program is our connection to the local church. If we have someone from your community who attends our programs and who is looking for a home church – or simply for a place to call to ask questions about God – we want to be able to put them in touch with the Ambassador in your congregation. (We prefer the personal contact rather than simply saying, “Call the church office…”) The Ambassador does not have to be a Pastor, Youth Pastor or Elder; we’re looking for anyone in your church who is willing to talk to those in your area who are looking for more information about what it means to be a Christian.
Another benefit to the Ambassador Program is that while we have a Scholarship Fund here at Crescent Lake, we don’t know the needs of people within your church. The Ambassador can call me and tell me that there is a youth or family who really needs to attend one of our programs, but cannot afford it. Because I now know of the need, I will do my best to find some way to bring those people to camp.
We will send the Ambassador updates on our programs and what is going on at Crescent Lake Bible Camp to either post or to put in the hands of people who need it. Please understand, if you already support a camp, we don’t want to compete against them. All I would ask is that the Ambassador considers our programs to see if they might meet specific needs of people in your church. This way, we can create opportunities for all people while, at the same time, sending new people to you.
If you or someone in your church would be interested in being an Ambassador, we would ask that you simply fill out post card form - available for download below - and return it to us. Since most youth are internet-savvy, we would ask that we can get an email address for the Ambassador. (We will never send information to the Ambassador by email – unless they specifically request it – it is just an easier way for most youth to communicate. It is our goal to have one contact person per church family that we work with. If multiple people from the same church request to be an Ambassador, we would suggest that they work as a committee with one lead person who will become our main contact.
