Youth Camps

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.

Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged,

for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

(Joshua 1:9)

Junior Camp (Grades K - 3)

Junior Camp is a 3-day / 2 night program designed for our younger campers.  While at camp, campers will be in the care of well-trained counselors.  Our Junior Campers will participate in many fun activities, including: exciting Chapel services, boating, crafts, mini golf, swimming and more!  Parents are given the opportunity to attend camp with their Junior Camper, if they wish, to help them become used to the camp environment.

New Adventurers Camp (Grades 3 - 6)

New Adventurers is Crescent Lake Bible Camp's most popular program and, 75 years after it started, it is still the highlight for hundreds of kids each year.  Activities include archery, arts and crafts, basketball, campfires, canoeing, chapels, nature hikes, swimming, waterskiing, making friends and great food!  Campers get to choose three Skills Classes, giving them a chance to try the different opportunities to build skills and self confidence.

Young Crusaders (Grades 6 -9)

Calling all Jr. High students!  We are looking for you to come and find your place here at Crescent Lake Bible Camp!  With opportunities to choose activity periods for personal growth to Team Competitions, you will have the chance to try new activities, develop new skills, make new friends and experience the best week of your life!  This year, Young Crusaders will get to choose two Skills Classes, giving them opportunities to continue to develop to the fullest of their abilities.

Explorers (Grades 7 - 12)

Come and explore the beauty of God's creation!  Explorers will stay in tents or shelters at the "Back 40", cooking over a fire, learning outdoor skills and developing their teamwork skills.  After a couple of days of preparation and packing, the Explorers set out on their adventure!  Whether it's biking to a nearby State Park, canoeing down the Wisconsin River or even bigger trips, Explorers will have exciting experiences as we encounter God in the out-of-doors.

Teen Conquerors (Grades 9 - 12)

Are you ready to have a great time of personal and spiritual growth?  Do you want to meet other teens who share your faith?  Our Teen Conquerors program provides you with the opportunity to learn more about God, develop personal skills, find other teens who share your interests and challenge you to consider yourself through God's eyes.  In addition, our "Equipping Track" - a ministry outreach program - will let you partner with peers that share your same interests and talents with others beyond Summer Camp!

Specialty Camps (Grades 6 - 12)

Would you like to spend more of your time at camp learning a particular skill?  Specialty Camp was designed with you in mind.  Campers select a "specialty" they want to study and spend three hours each day working with our skilled instructors - that's 15 hours in one week!  Our Specialty Camps include:  Archery, Art, Gymnastics, Horseback Riding, Illusions, Rocketry, Sailing, Swimming, Waterskiing, Wilderness Survival and more.  Classes vary each week; please see our brochure more information.  Learn by doing at Specialty Camp!  Space is extremely limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Leaders In Training (Grades 9 - 12)

The Leaders In Training (LIT) program is a two-week intensive curriculum designed to teach teenagers leadership skills.  This program covers such topics as: communication, cooperation, encouragement, spiritual leadership, teambuilding / teamwork, trust and much more.  During the course of the LIT program, campers will enjoy an off-camp trip - either to an amusement park like Valley Fair or to Wisconsin Dells; or on a wilderness trip including sea kayaking, whitewater canoeing, etc.  LITs will learn what it takes to be a leader and those who successfully complete the LIT program may be eligible to come back as part of the Counselor In Training (CIT) program.  (This program requires an additional application form which is sent after receiving the registration form.)

Counselors In Training (Grades 11 - 12)

Want to take what you've learned in the Leaders In Training program and apply it?  Then consider joining the Counselors In Training (CIT) program at Crescent Lake Bible Camp.  Each year we select a small number of High School students to assist us in leading the programs and ministries that we offer.  CITs should have successfully completed the Leaders In Training program - although exceptions will be considered - and must apply and interview, just like any other staff member.  If accepted to the CIT program, youth will spend two weeks working intensively under the supervision of one of our leadership staff and will have the opportunity to plan activities, coordinate events and even lead programs for our youth and family campers.  (There is no charge for a CIT to attend the program.  CITs are not paid although they do have the option of raising Missionary Support.)
